Refund Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
This is our refund policy for NodeHop Premium. It covers both ways Premium can be bought — on the website, and inside the NodeHop app for iPhone and Android — because the two work very differently. NodeHop is run by Dimitri Blondeel as an individual; our terms say who we are.
Right now, there is nothing to refund
NodeHop is in beta and Premium is free for everyone. Checkout is switched off, so nobody can buy Premium today and nobody has paid for it. Everything below is what will apply once we start charging.
14 days, no questions asked — bought on the website
If you bought Premium on the website and you’re not happy with it, email us within 14 days of paying and we’ll refund it in full. You don’t have to give a reason. That is our own promise; on top of it, consumer law may give you rights we cannot take away, and those still apply.
After 14 days — bought on the website
A prepaid pass: because you paid up front, we’ll consider a good-faith refund of the whole months you haven’t used. Buy twelve months, stop after three, and we can refund up to the nine whole months left. A month you have already started isn’t refunded. A monthly subscription: cancel it on your account page and it stops renewing — you keep Premium to the end of the month you have already paid for, and that month isn’t refunded. We don’t charge anything for cancelling.
Bought in the app? Apple or Google handles it
A subscription bought inside the iPhone or Android app is sold by Apple or Google, not by us. That money never reaches us, so we cannot refund it — only the store can. On iPhone: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find NodeHop and request a refund; to stop it renewing, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Budget & history to request a refund, and → Subscriptions to cancel. Each store sets its own rules and deadlines, and the decision is theirs. If a store turns you down and you think we should still help, write to us anyway and we’ll see what we can do.
How to ask us — website purchases
Email admin@nodehop.com from the address on your account, with the order or receipt number from your Paddle receipt. Paddle is the merchant of record for website purchases and handles the payments and the refunds; an approved refund goes back to the card or account you paid with, usually within 5–10 working days. You can also start the request straight from the receipt Paddle emailed you. When a refund goes through, the Premium months it paid for come off your account again.
